The Ox Bristol is located just off the city centre on the trendy Corn street, downstairs in a vaulted basement. The venue itself i will say is very dark which does have its pros a cons... The decor is a very nice and has a great Georgian feel and very intimate. Obviously the darkness makes food photos very difficult and below was the only salvageable one.
I chose the Buxton dry aged beef rump which was served lovely and pink in the middle with crushed veg, red cabbage and roast potatoes. I obviously added cauliflower cheese which was gorgeous. I would highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner for two.
