The Lion Tavern is a bit of a hidden gem in Clifton. Set up from the busy Hotwells roads in a residential area with great views of the harbour. Its a family run pub with a lovely Sunday roast popular with my fussy eating mother.
Here is the Lamb, Pork and Beef roast dinners all a great as each other. these come accompanied with roasted and dauphinoise potatoes, a crispy parsnip croquette, red cabbage and veggies. For a dessert i had an amazing vegan apple crumble with vanilla ice cream.
