A Lovely family Sunday roast at the beautiful Chequers Inn located deep in Hanhan mills by the river and canal. Had it been a nicer day we'd of loved a walk either before or after lunch.
The Venue is very impressive outside and in with huge panoramic windows across the front.
All of us couldn't resist the trio of meats, roast beef, west country lamb and a 1/4 chicken. We also added to the table to share - pigs in blankets, cauliflower cheese and cheesy creamed peas, leeks and chorizo... because why not! and all of it was amazing to be honest, especially the peas/leeks/chorizo, very very tasty.
