So tonight I went to visit Burger Bear, the newest burger joint in Bristol that opened up late last summer. The place is owned and run by Tom Reaney aka the burger bear.
One of the first things you'd realise when you walk in is the atmosphere. Their motto is "come for the burgers stay for the vibes". They play decent music and actually have a set of mixing decks by the till and bar.
The other will be the smell, the whiff of sizzling burger being cooked in the opened fronted kitchen. Tonight I was lucky enough to be cooked for by the Bear himself. So I asked him to order for me... And I'm so glad I did.
We were served a [Grizzly bear] burger a double cheese burger with oak smoked bacon and their own bacon jam.
I had the [Chix] a chicken thigh burger with holy f**k mayo, pickled red onion and jalapeño slaw. I had the [Chix] a chicken thigh burger with holy f**k mayo, pickled red onion and jalapeño slaw.

All in all an awesome experience. I couldn't fault the food and the beer on tap is from just down the road from Wiper and True whuch is a favorite brewery of mine. They source the meat from Popti & Beast too, which is also just down the road which has a great reputation.
I will definitely be revisiting... I may even try the teddy bears picnic challenge a huge 5 patty burger with tons of cheese & bacon.
