The Black Swan a local dog friendly pub of mine on Stoke Lane in Westbury-on-trym with a huge seated garden. After a busy Sunday a couple of us headed down here for a quick roast. Luckily there was no need to book and we sat straight down.
A choice of Pork of Beef Brisket... I went for the slow cooked Beef brisket, I seriously love this stuff... Cooked right it can be so much better than topside or sirloin. The beef just fell apart, I loved the red cabbage, just how I like it not too sweet... The hidden creamy leeks were great, the gravy was tasty although a little bit thin and the cauliflower cheese looked lacking in sauce but there was actually plenty in there and good amount of crisped up cheese on top.
