The Lock up Sunday Roast

The Lock up is a family run restaurant, just down from st George's Park. Iv always noticed it when driving past, but this was my first time inside. It's very smart and deceivingly huge inside. We were seated upstairs which is also used for large party's and private bookings, and it had a great view of the kitchen and it was mesmerising to watch the chefs plating up each and every plate with care and precision.

I went for the cider braised old spot pork belly with black pudding fritter, pork scratching, all the veg including beetroot which was nice change and a Yorkshire pudding. I also naturally added a cauliflower cheese.
